"ARRIVAL OF THE ANTARCTIC AT NEW YORK. -- We extract the following announcement from the New York Sun of Aug. 22: --
'The ship Antartic, Captain [George C.] Sloufeer, arrived at this port yesterday from Liverpool, having on board 30 Mormons and a choice selection of livestock as follows: -- 1 bull, 1 heifer, 30 sheep, 3 rams, 15 boxed ferrets, pheasants, and rabbits, 6 dogs, 1 pony, all of superior breed, and intended for breeding in the States.'"

"ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTH COMPANY. -- Antarctic, 30 souls. The ship Antarctic, Captain Sloufeer, sailed from Liverpool, July 10, 1859, with thirty Saints on board, in charge of Elder James Chaplow. After a successful voyage, this little company arrived in New York, Aug. 21, 1859, and the emigrants scattered in search of employment, intending to go to the Valley as soon as they had earned sufficient means to do so.
