"FIFTH COMPANY. -- 181 souls. About the same time as the Sheffield sailed from Liverpool (February, 1841), another company of Saints from Herefordshire and the surrounding country sailed from Bristol, but I have been unable to learn the name of the ship, or the number of emigrants going on it. However, basing my calculation on Apostle Parley P. Pratt's statement to the effect that one thousand people had emigrated up to April, 1841, we have grounds for believing that about one hundred and eighty-one souls sailed from Bristol on that occasion."
