S. S. Wyoming, Aug. 17, 1890.President George Teasdale.
Dear Brother,--It is with pleasure that I send you a short note, to inform you, in regard to our little company. We met a heavy gale as we started from Liverpool, it could not be called a storm, but still a few of the people became seasick, but the most of them are well this morning.
One remarkable case has occurred. A lady, being subject to fits, was attacked yesterday afternoon, and was very sick, so much so that she was out of her senses. We administered to her, and rebuked the disease in the name of the Lord, and she was made well in an instant, and we feel to give the honor to God.
We arrived here at Queenstown at 8 a.m., and most of our people are up on deck, taking a view of the town and the surrounding country. We will start from here about 1 p.m.
With kind regards to you and all at "42" [42 ISLINGTON WAS THE ADDRESS OF THE BRITISH MISSION IN LIVERPOOL].
Your humble servant, and fellow laborer in Christ.
