The S. S. Wisconsin at Queenstown. All well.
We have received the following from President Jorgan Hansen and his counselors, W. C. A. Smoot [Jr.] and J. [John] G. M. Barnes, dated June 21, 1885:
"We arrived in Queenstown today, at 11:30 a.m., after a cold, windy and rolling [p.412] passage through the channel. Seasickness has been pretty general among us all; still, the majority are on deck. This morning the Saints are singing and feeling first class. Have heard few complaints. The officers and seamen are very attentive, and doing all they can to make the passage a pleasant one. It is still windy and cold, and the sea rolling beautifully. The songs of Zion are heard from sweet melodious voices from all parts of the ship's deck. A cluster of English, Danish and Germans, here and there, singing and chatting about those left behind, and the dear ones they anticipate seeing in Zion.
We continue the journey full of hope and good spirits, and send one more farewell and God bless you, to the brethren in the office and those left behind." [p.413]
