S. S. Nevada, off Queenstown, September 5th, 1880.President William Budge.
Dear Brother,--We have almost completed our organization, and will do so entirely tonight. Owing to boisterous weather and very general sickness, we have been unable to hold meetings today, but will do so as soon as practicable.
The ship's officers are very courteous and, being to ourselves, arrangements are very satisfactory. Good feeling prevails among brethren and Saints.
Your brethren in the gospel,
