“Sunday, Aug. 25 . . . Releases and Departures - - The following named missionaries have been honorably released and sailed for home August 25th, 1912, per s.s. ‘Scandinavian’ : From Great Britain - -George M Williams, James Ball, Albert Smith, J Thurman Smith. From Sweden - -Bengt Johnson, Frederick Thunnell. From Scandinavia- -Ernest A Jensen, Ole C Oleson, Stephen Chipman, William H Squires, Eric Ludvigsen. From Switzerland and Germany - - L P Vickers. With the company were twenty –three emigrants in charge of Elders Bengt Johnson, James Ball, and William H Squires. (Mill.Star, 74:558).” [BMMH, 1912]."
