“Wednesday, Mar. 4 . . . Releases and Departures - -The following named missionaries have been honorably released, and sailed for St John N.B. per s.s ‘Victorian,’ March 4th, 1914: From the British mission –Lorenzo P Burt, Jr. Thomas Shepheard, Wiley S Collett. From the Swiss and German mission - -Orland B Hadlock, Ernest Blaser, L Clyde Dorton, M C Hubbard, Robert W Jackson, William H Manning. From the French mission -- -Frank B Smith, Charles W Mitchell. From the Scandinavian mission – H Harry Madsen, Stanley A Rasmussen, John Johanneson. From the Netherlands mission - -Alonzo Barker. A company of five emigrants, in charge of Elders William H Manning, Orland B Hadlock and Stanley A Rasmussen also took passage on the same ship. (Mill.Star, 76:176).” [BMMH,1914].
