A number of meetings were held on board and a
good feeling prevailed among the company generally notwithstanding the different nationalities. The ‘Arizona’ arrived in New York April 23, 1894 and the missionaries and emigrants immediately after landing went by street car to the ferry which took them across the Hudson River to the New Jersey side whence the railroad journey was commenced the same evening. Traveling via Buffalo, Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, Cheyenne, Laramie, etc. The company arrived safe and well in Ogden and Salt Lake City on Saturday, April 28, 1894” [BMMH, 1894].
