“Saturday, April 23. The steamship ‘Wyoming’ sailed from Liverpool with a small company of Saints on board, bound for Utah. The company included six Elders, returning from missions, namely, Joseph S. Douglas, Charles T. Black, John I. Prye, James T. Woods, James C. Berthlesen and Joseph R. Olson. The emigrants included 13 Saints from the British Mission. (Orig. Doc.)” [BMMH, 1892]. “Elder Black returns to Utah in good health and spirits. The ocean journey, he says, was a pleasant one; some delay was, however, occasioned by the fogs on the way.” [DNW, 44:701].
