“Wednesday, May 31 . . .Releases and Departures - -The following named missionaries have been honorably released from their labors and sailed for home May 31st, 1916, per s.s. ‘Finland’: From the British mission - -Gilbert Taysom, Clarence J Woods, Lars E Larson, Samuel R Francis, H LeRoy Frisby, Joseph R Gransden, John M Rothlisberger, Joseph R Standage, Thomas E Vance, James Judd, Charles J Smith, George W Smith, and James M Cook. From the South African mission - -William H Lindsay and B Glen Kenney. A company of eight emigrants took passage on the same ship, in charge of Elders H LeROy Frisby, Thomas E Vance, and Samuel E Francis. (Mill.Star, 78:368).” [BMMH,1916].
