On this day (March 19, 1958) the ship Empire which had sailed from Liverpool, England, Feb. 19, 1858, with a company of returning missionaries and a few emigrating Saints, arrived safely at New York. Following is a list of the missionaries and emigrants as they crossed the ocean distributed in different cabins which are named; all those marked with a star (*) are returning elders:
