S. S. Colorado, off Queenstown, July 13, 1871.President Albert Carrington.
Dear Brother--The weather has been rather disagreeable since we left Liverpool--cold, with fog and some rain. A number of the brethren and sisters are a little seasick, but a good, kind and cheerful spirit prevails. The officers and crew, thus far, have been very considerate, and we look forward for a good time. We have organized our little company; will endeavor to cultivate the spirit of our holy religion, attend to our prayers, trust in the Lord and not neglect to watch.
The brethren join in kind regards to yourself and all at 42. [42 Islington WAS THE ADDRESS OF THE BRITISH MISSION IN LIVERPOOL]
