Saturday June 28
. . . took leave of the brethren and we started to the river and we went at 3 o'clock p.m. by the tug to the steamer and at 3:30 we started on our voyage; it was very fine all the afternoon. I was not very well but I with my counsel got the Saints organized in 10 wards so that prayer would be attended to and we had everything very comfortable [p. 144]
I had a very fair night rest. I feel rather sick. After I got up and washed, I took a walk on deck and I felt some better. After breakfast I stayed on deck. We [-] at [-] and we left [-] at [-]. The wind began to blow and it rained very fast. After lunch I went to see the captain [to ask] if we could hold meeting in the steerage, and all the Saints came and we had a very good time, we commenced our meeting at 3 o'clock p.m.[p. 145] [DIARY ABRUPTLY ENDS]
