They numbered 352 souls, including 103 Saints from Scandinavia, 235 from Great Britain, 12 returning elders, and one visitor. The names of the missionaries who return with the company are as follows: -- David McKay, William H. King, Joseph Greaves, Alfred Bailey, Thomas Emmett, Charles Sharp, Daniel Davies, Charles Lambert, Nils R. Lindahl, O. C. Larsen, J. P. Jensen, Joseph R. Linvall, and H. C. Hansen, the last named five being from the Scandinavian mission, and all the others from the British. The visitor is Mrs. Mary Alice Lambert, who came to England last November to spend the winter with her relatives. The company left in excellent health and spirits, the weather was propitious for commencing the voyage, and a great many friends went out in the tender to take leave of the emigrants, with all of whom we feel to unite in wishing the voyagers a pleasant journey and safe arrival in the 'valleys of the mountains.'"
