“Wednesday, Sept 11. . . . Departures - - The following Elders sailed from Liverpool for Boston per s.s. Republic: from Great Britain - - Henry Walters, David L Murdoch, Alfred H Powell, Henry Thornley, Arthur Schreeve. From Switzerland and Germany - -Abinadi Tolman, Lawrence B Smith, Otto Henry Holl, John Springer. With the Elders were twenty-one emigrating Saints. The company was in charge of President David L Murdoch, Elder Arthrur Schreeve being his assistants. The following missionaries also sailed to-day for Montreal, per s.s ‘Dominion’ : From Great Britain - - Elder William C Gibby. From Scandinavia - - Elder Niels P Nielsen, Sister Anna Otte. From Sweden - - Elder Charles G Dahlquist. With the Elders were fifty-four emigrating Saints. The company was in charge of Elder Niels P Nielsen, Elder Charles D Dahlquist and Thomas Ogden being his assistants. (Mill.Star, 69: 589).” [BMMH,1907].
