“Elder Hans C. Hansen of Mink Creek, Idaho, who had presided over the Aarhus Conference, left Copenhagen July 6, [1893], returning to his home. He also was accompanied by a small company of emigrating Saints, which on their arrival in England was augmented by a few Saints from Norway, the whole company then numbering 35 souls. Besides Elder Hansen two other missionaries returned home with this company, namely, Joseph A. Folkman and Brynte Anderson, who had labored in Norway.” [HSM, 332]
“Saturday, July 15. The ship ‘Alaska’ sailed from Liverpool with 56 Saints on board,
bound for Utah. The company consisted of 45 emigrants from Great Britain, 7 returning visitors and 4 Elders returning from missions, namely, Ralph G. Savage, H. C. Hanson, Joseph A. Folkman and Brynte Anderson. The names of the returning visitors were: Geo. [George] Q. Cannon, Caroline Y. Cannon, Sylvester Q. Cannon, James E. Talmage, Job Pingree and two others. (Orig.
